Summer is 4 months old!

My sweet little girl is getting bigger by the day, and we are enjoying every moment of it.

Summer @ 4 months:
You are still in 0-3 month clothes and I think we'll be here for a bit longer.
And you are still wearing size 2 diapers.

You are so smiley!
Anything we say to you, you start smiling
and your eyes light up.

You chew constantly on your hands. And you're drooling buckets.
You are still breastfeeding like a champ.

You typically wake some time between 2-4 to eat and then go back to sleep until around 7 to eat.

You hate being on your stomach. Tummy time is a work in progress in our house,
but we're getting there. You like it a little more each day.
This is what happens when I stick you in your bouncy chair with no buckle!
You are trying hard to roll over... both directions.
When you are on your belly you try and your arm gets in the way.
When you are on your back you try to roll and your arm gets in the way...
That darn arm!

You have found your toes, and you think they're pretty great!
You love when I sing to you. Especially Twinkle, Twinkle.

You barely fuss. You let us know when you need something, otherwise, you're smiling
You are talking like a teenage girl who just got her first cell phone.
You coo and make all sorts of fun noises.
And you love to show us your tongue.

You reach for your binky, rattle, or whatever is closest.
And you have a good grip.
You have a little bald spot on the back of your head from laying on your back!
I'm glad that you are starting to move over to your side and once you enjoy being on your tummy more
hopefully that will fill right in.
We go in for your 4 month check up next week! Can't wait to see your measurements!

To check out other months, here are month 1, month 2 and month 3
