Life Update

So, my blog is sort of a disaster right now. I hope you'll hang out with me a little longer while I get it in order.

A couple of weeks ago I decided that I wanted to finally switch to WordPress. For you non-bloggers that really means nothing. But what I've done is switch platforms where I write my posts. It's a big change, but I'm excited!

It got switched over on Sunday and then I was sick to my stomach all day Monday and didn't touch it. Then Tuesday I was up bright and early and sitting at the hospital with my sister, aunts and uncle and my dad while my mom went into the OR for open heart surgery. They were replacing a valve and then they let my dad know they had to do a bypass and it was stressful, to say the least. I'm such an emotional person and keeping it together for my dad was HARD! But I really felt like I needed to be there supporting him, not the other way around! But she is out, she spent about 24 hours in the ICU and is now in her own (shared) room and doing great and I couldn't be more grateful for the care she has received.

It was so great to see her this morning when she was back to herself, though having her tell me she was going to be on the cover of the hospital magazine yesterday afternoon just after coming out of sedation was pretty entertaining.

So now I'm home and the littles are sleeping and I'm sitting down to look over this blog of mine and see what I still have to switch over to make this little blog look presentable.  What do you think so far?

The kids are all good and life is moving too fast. I feel like I don't have enough time in a day to keep this blog updated, and it's been a little neglected, but better the blog then the kids, right?

I posed a challenge on instagram and facebook.

Life as I know it wasn't the most creative choice when I named this blog and I'm thinking of changing it. Give me your best blog name ideas and if I pick yours I will send you a $10 gift card.  I have several ideas, but could always use suggestions. And if all else fails, I'll leave it.  So what'd got for me?
