Foodie Friday: Better than Anything cake

First, let me just say that I know this picture sucks. I made this on Easter and forgot to take a picture until about 10 that night and so this is what I've got! Don't let it discourage you... This is amazing cake!

I came across this recipe on Pinterest and it took me to Chef-in-Training where I knew it would be good because I've made several of her recipes before! Go look at her pictures and then try to say no to this cake!

You want to make it now, don't you? Well, here's how:
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix and any ingredients it requires
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (16 oz) jar caramel topping
  • 1 (8 oz) container cool whip thawed to room temp
  • 3-6 Heath Candy Bars chopped
  1. Bake cake according to directions in a 9x13 pan.
  2. Let cake cool for about 5 minutes.
  3. Poke holes in cake with the handle end of a wooden spoon.
  4. While cake is still warm, slowly pour over sweetened condensed milk over the top making sure some gets in all the holes of the cake.
  5. Next drizzle the caramel topping evenly over the cake slowly, making sure some gets in all the holes as well.
  6. Spread cool whip over the top evenly.
  7. Sprinkle with Heath Candy bar pieces.
  8. Store in fridge until ready to eat. Store any leftovers in fridge.

Yep, that's all. Now go make this cake and try not to eat it all!

  1. Looks yummy to me I will have to try it out soon and check out her site as well. Have a nice week.

  2. Yes this cake is delicious! This is my sisters go-to dish for get togethers. She calls it something else, "better than..." but I like the name you used more.

  3. My husband's birthday is at the end of the month and I'm going to make this for him! He's not a big fan of traditional frosted cakes but he loves Heath Candy Bars so I am sure he will love this.
