3 easy Steps to Summerize your legs

I make no secret of how much I love the Summer time and all that comes with it.  During the winter I don't shave my legs unless I have to and my skin gets extra dry.  So when Summer comes around I always look forward to smooth, soft and tan Summer legs.  I even sport a flip flop tan line most of the year.

This year I've settled into a new summer beauty routine to "Summerize your legs" consisting of three quick and easy steps.

1. Prepare

2. Shave

3. Protect

Easy enough, right?

You might not think you really need to "prepare" your legs for shaving, but considering I shaved my legs with bar soap for years (Eek, I know!), I think I few summertime shaving tips don't hurt!
  • Use shave gel. You never want to shave your legs dry. And shaving at the end of your shower is best.

  • When shaving, using women's razors with at least 4 blades is best to avoid irritation, or try out Schick Quattro for Women Trim Style razor to get perfect bikini trimming.

  • Don't forget to change out your blade every 5-6 uses.

  • It's important to moisturize before and after shaving.  Try out Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen and after sun lotions. My favorite is the Lime Coolada After Sun Moisturizing lotion.
