What is something I collect?
I have mentioned this before, but I collect elephant statues.
It all started when I rode an elephant at a local zoo
when I was in kindergarten.
I've loved them since.
But I don't think I started collecting them until 5th or 6th grade.
My grandma was cleaning out some stuff and she found a little elephant statue
that was a piggy bank and I wanted it!
She also spent several years trying to give me a (real) elephant foot stool.
(I know, it's super gross!)
Anyway, I'm not sure how many elephants I have. I would say probably a couple hundred.
Sadly, right now they are all packed away because for years I have just not had a place to keep them.
Hopefully one day I will have a cabinet, or a shelf in my scrapbook room for my sweet elephants!
And one last thing, trunk up is important--
trunk down= bad luck.....
i end to collect packages of fun napkins. i have a whole drawer full of paper napkins for every occasion. my kids laugh at me but hey im always prepared right?!

Hubby and I love to find unique coins. We always check our change and he has a vending machine that we always check the change in. We've ended up with some interesting coins.
ReplyDeletei collect Booze... all sorts of it... wine, hard alcohol, beer... etc.... oh and bottle caps.
