Crockpot Chicken Tacos

It's Friday... So you know what that means!

This last week I made a few new things
and I am going to share just a couple with you today.

The first thing I made was crock pot Chicken Tacos.
I got this recipe from Pinterest,
and My Chocolate Therapy is who blogged about this earlier this year.

This is one of the easiest recipes I have ever made,
and it was delicious!
My entire family ate these chicken tacos with no problem
and we look forward to eating them again!

Here is the recipe:
1 packet of Taco seasoning
6 pieces of boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 16 oz jar of salsa (just whatever your favorite brand it- I used Pace)

Dump each of the ingredients into the crock pot, stir it a little to blend in the taco season
with the Salsa. Cook on high 4-6 hours, or on low 6-8 hours. When done, chicken will shred easily.

I served these with hard and soft shells, lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese and sour cream.

Here's how they looked right before they left for my belly:

For realz... you must try this! I'm not kidding when I say it's easy, and delicious!
Next, I think I am going to make nachos with this amazing chicken!

The next thing I made this week was Comeback sauce.
Again, I found this on Pinterest and the recipe was on Syrup and Biscuits website.

I love sauce on hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, anything,
so I was looking forward to tasting this!
I followed this recipe exactly because I didn't want to take a chance of messing it up!

Here is the recipe:
 1 cup mayonnaise
1/4  cup Heinz ketchup
1/4 cup chili sauce (DO NOT substitute Thai Chili Sauce)
1 heaping teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/4 cup light olive oil
juice of one lemon

Mix all ingredients and refrigerate overnight!
(the ingredients need to blend)

In case you are not familiar with Chili sauce (and I wasn't so this helped me!)
From Syrup and Biscuits website: Chili Sauce is a condiment that is usually found on the same aisle as ketchup, mayo and mustard. Look for it on the top shelve.  The bottle contains 12 ounces.  I’ve always preferred Heinz, but,  my store  was recently out of Heinz and I bought Del Monte which I’ve found is just as good. It’s always nice to have an option. Chili Sauce and chili pepper are not the same.

Another thing is that I wasn't that interested in buying Tabasco sauce,
and Dijon mustard, and chili sauce,
because really, when I am going to use that entire bottle?
But I did get the right ingredients and I know I will be
using the entire amounts when I make this sauce again!

Here is the picture of my sauce:
I made hamburgers and french fries, and this sauce was really good on both.
I would make it again for sure.

PS. this will last in your fridge (when covered properly) for as long as you'd keep ketchup or mustard.

Now, head to the store and get what you need to make these this weekend!
I don't think you will be disappointed!

Let me know how they turned out for you!

If you made it to the bottom of this post, thank you!
Care to share something you've made?
