Foodie Friday: Home made ice cream (without a machine)

I love me some ice cream. But lately, I'm not eating much of it. Every once in a while it's nice to have a little scoop, and I've wanted to make Amanda's recipe for quite a while. It was on my Summer bucket list, so I had to make it, right?

And it's easy peasy!

Here are the basics.
You need 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and one can of sweetened condensed milk.

You whip the cream until you have stiff peaks.

Then take the condensed milk and add your goodies.

Then mix the milk/goodies into the whipped cream and stir until mixed. Put into a freezer safe container.

Eat once frozen.  Yum! Enjoy your ice cream. And think of all the possibilities you can do with this!

What do you see in my bowl?
I added about 1/4 packet of Starbucks Via. (like the Ready Brew kind)
a 1/4 cup of peanut butter
then I squeezed in some chocolate syrup and caramel syrup

Can I just say, UH-MAZE-ING!

  1. This looks awesome! I've been wanting to find a good recipe like this, since I haven't convinced myself to spend the money on the Kitchenaid attachment yet. Maaaybe for Christmas. Until then, I have a recipe now! Thank you thank you!
