Show your #DisneySide

This past weekend I got to hold my first ever #DisneySide Party!

I was selected by Mom Select and Disney to participate and it couldn't have been more exciting.  I received my 28 lb box in the mail and was super happy about everything I saw. Not only did I get all I would need to host a super fun party, like paper for invites, decorations, plates, cups, napkins, etc. but I also got party favors, activities and a piece of luggage.

I didn't waste too much time before I got to planning. The decorations I received were Mickey Mouse so it only makes sense to stick with that theme. Thanks to Pinterst it was a no brainer. I was able to put together additional decorations, a menu, and activities in no time flat.

I also got my invitations out in a jiffy and then we just had to wait until party day.

So back to this weekend--

Party day arrived, food was prepared, guests showed up, lots of games were played and tons of sweet little smiles.

We played Bingo, created one of a kind t-shirts, colored Mickey and Minnie coloring pages, decorated lots of Mickey shaped sugar cookies and ate more snacks than one group of people needs but it was a fun time. The kids laughed, played balloon toss games, ate lots of sugar and then I got to send them home with their parents!

Such a fun day was had by everyone- One of the girls said: "Thanks for having me to your fun birthday party Kate!" The kids were all a little confused over whose birthday it was, and didn't really believe us that it wasn't anyone's birthday, but just a fun party! I'm glad she had a fun time. I know I sure enjoyed hosting!

Disclaimer: I received free products in order to host the DisneySide @Home Celebration. The opinions expressed here are my own.
