100 day picture challenge. Day 58

Day 58. A picture of your hair all done.

This, obviously is my wedding day.

It's the only time I have had my hair "done" by someone.
Sort of a random picture, but it really shows the top well
and a lot of curls and hair spray went into this!

For real, Rascal Flatts????

Every so often I go check the schedule of these guys
wishing, hoping, praying that they will be coming back to Spokane...

It's been about 2 1/2 years since I saw them in concert last
(and met them)
and I have been waiting
(not very patiently)
for them to come back....

Well.... THEY ARE FINALLY COMING BACK!

Guess when?
SEPTEMBER 21....

Guess when this mama has her due date?
SEPTEMBER 24....

But guess when I will have my c-section?
MOST LIKELY SEPTEMBER 17TH.....

SEE MY PROBLEM???

I tell Travis my dilemma and you know what
my sweet loving husband says...

He says,  "FUNNY"
Really, Travis? Are you sure you want to say that to your pregnant wife?
Because I see nothing funny about this situation!

So I either beg and plead for a later c-section date...
which I doubt is possible...

Or dad stays home and I go...

I guess it's not really that big of a problem now that I have worked it all out.

I GUESS I'M SEEING RASCAL FLATTS IN SEPTEMBER!!!

100 day picture challenge. Day 57

Day 57. A picture of you in your backyard

I love this picture of my family from last summer
hanging out in our backyard!

I love that we have a BIG backyard now at this "new" house!
And this spring I hope to add some good toys
for the boys to play with too!

I love love love our backyard!
And I can't wait for it to get warm and the
grass to turn green and lounge in the sun
with my boys!

100 day picture challenge. Day 56

Day 56. A picture of you all bundled up

All bundled up to play in the snow!
A fun morning with my boys! :)

100 day picture challenge. Day 55

Day 55. A picture of you with a date

Travis and I had only been dating a few weeks when I drug him along to my mom's graduation party.
He basically met my ENTIRE family! 3 weeks in...
And he stuck around!
That's how I knew he was a keeper! haha!

100 day picture challenge. Day 54

Day 54. A picture of you on your last vacation.

This was my last "real" vacation, not counting our little mini trips.

Here Zach and I are at Disneyland!
What a fun day Zachary and I had!

This was Zach's 8th birthday and we had a blast spending the day
at the park! They gave Zach a pin that said Happy Birthday on it
so everywhere we went people were telling him "Happy Birthday!'

100 day picture challenge. Day 53

Day 53. A picture of you in a car

Well, today's challenge was a perfect challenge for this particular day!
It was actually a pretty bitter sweet day.

I sold my car!

We decided that with our growing family it was time to sell my car and get a bigger one.
We had sold Travis' little truck last week after it was listed for only a day or two,
so we thought we'd put my car on craigslist and see if we could sell it.
Then we'd have one less thing to worry about when looking for another vehicle!

Well, less than a week after listing it, I am no longer the owner
of a 2006 Pontiac Vibe.
It's a sad day!
I get it, it's only a car...
But I loved it, and it was great for me and my family
and I always felt safe in it!

But I am happy for what it means for our family!
And I am excited to see what we find to drive!

14 weeks!

So excited to officially be in my 2nd trimester!

How far along: 14 weeks

Total weight gain: 2 pounds to the ounce.

Sleep: sleeping pretty good. I miss belly sleeping but I just can't do it for very long!

Maternity Clothes: Yep. I am definitely in maternity clothes. I still have several things that are not,
like sweat pants, etc. But mostly stretchy clothes!

Gender: Team Green! We will find out in September!

Names: We still have 3 boys names.... but for girls names, it's a joke!
We had a few picked out and now every time we talk about Travis seems to change
his mind on one or another. So we are getting no where!

Stretch marks: no new ones

Best moment this week: Today... Hearing the heartbeat is always so reassuring...
it was 144, by the way. :)

Movement: Yes! I felt a tiny little flutter on Thursday.
I was curled up on the couch and knew exactly what it was when I felt it!

Food cravings: Not really. I have a small glass of coke almost everyday.
But besides that I am back to eating pretty normal.

Labor signs:
Not even close.

Belly button - innie or outie: innie

What are you looking forward to this week : I was really looking forward to my appt today.
I always feel so reassured afterwards. Especially now when I am feeling better and not feeling the pregnancy sickness. I am also looking forward to feeling more movement!

Health: I am feeling really good! I feel like normal more times than
not so that has been REALLY nice!

My Dr. Appt went great. Since I was seeing my normal dr this time we talked about them
moving my due date back a week. He said it will probably stay where it is now,
but when they do measurements at the 20 week anatomy scan
they will know for sure if it stays or changes.
Then we will schedule D-Day!

It's so exciting and I really can't wait for September to be here! :)

Life at home

Life has been busy!

I feel like things are non stop, whether we are actually on the go
or at home.

Here are some things we have been doing!

Tyler loves to dance!

This is how MOST of my pictures of Tyler look these days!
It takes about 20 pictures to get a decent one!

His serious side

Zach taught Tyler to play soccer. So now Tyler kicks the ball all over the house.
He will kick it over to one of us and say, "soccer?"
He has his head in the game!

Tyler and Jada like to watch out the front window together!

This is one messy eater!

Tyler playing with my Big Shot!
He has that look of, "I am not doing anything wrong!'

My two cheese balls having breakfast!

Tyler and I! Doesn't he look precious in his new hat?

Tyler and I at Grandma's house for Dad's birthday dinner

Dad about to blow out his candles on his cake!

Tyler spending quality time with his great Grandma.
He really loved her more because she let him hold the spoon!

Getting a good (or decent) picture of these two is pretty much impossible!
So I'll take what I can get!
Trav blowing out his candles on his cheesecake!

 My family!

Happy Birthday Trav! I sure love you!

Later today I will be posting my belly week. I have a dr appt this morning
so I thought I'd do my update afterwards.

Also, my picture challenge photo won't be happening until later this evening
because it's going to be a hot off the press picture
that hasn't even been taken yet!

And if you managed to make it all the way to the bottom of this post,
this is for you!

So check back often!

100 day picture challenge. Day 52

Day 52. A picture of you dressed up.

All dress up and 8 1/2 months pregnant!
I loved getting to be a part of Karri's wedding even though I was getting huger by the day!

100 day picture challenge. Day 51

Day 51. A picture of you wearing sunglasses

Here I am back in 2010- June and about 20 weeks pregnant with Tyler.
Trying to catch some sun...

100 day picture challenge. Day 50!

Day 50! (And half way through!!) A picture of yourself

Here I am! This was back in 2008- But I still look the same. :)

100 day picture challenge. Day 49

Day 49. A picture of you and your best friend(s)

I love this picture.
It is old.... From 2006.
But it is the only one I have with both of these lovely ladies!

Nicki and Karri are my go to girls
and have been for a long time.

I have been friends with Nicki since 7th grade.
(so that was like.... 1996 ish?)

And I have been friends with Karri since 2005.

I love these two beautiful women and would do anything for them.

100 day picture challenge. Day 48

Day 48. A picture of you from more than 10 year ago

Here I am at less than 1 year old.
This picture makes me smile because it reminds me of Tyler! :)

100 day picture challenge. Day 47

Day 47. A picture of your favorite animal

Elephants are my favorite animal
and have been for many many years.

I was lucky enough to ride one when I was in about Kindergarten or 1st grade
and I have loved them since!

I have collected elephants statues for many years as well.
They are boxed up right now but I hope that one day I will have a place for them.

13 weeks!

I am so excited to be 13 weeks! Only 3 days until 2nd trimester starts!

 How far along: 13 weeks

Total weight gain:about 2 pounds. Maybe 3?

Sleep: I am having a hard time falling asleep because I just want to sleep on my belly soo bad.
And as of this week, it's hard to sleep on it! It's finally getting to where it is not
comfortable to belly sleep anymore, so I end up all twisted up.

I somehow manage to end up with my shoulders flat on the bed,
but then I'm on my right hip with my left leg angled so that part of me on on my front,
but I'm not putting weight on my belly.
It really is so awful that I can't even describe it!

Maternity Clothes: Yep. Sadly even my leggings are not comfortable
right now because they cut my circulation off.
So basically, I live in my maternity jeans from sun up to sun down.

Gender: We are Team Green and will find out in September!

Names: We haven't narrowed it any further.
So we still have a handful of names to pick from!

Stretch marks: No new ones

Best moment this week: Feeling a little better!

Movement: nope

Food cravings: I think I am sorta over my lays and onion dip.
I feel like I just want a good ol' Coca Cola everyday.
And still hot pockets and chicken cup of noodle.

Labor signs:
Not even close.

Belly button - innie or outie: Innie. But I feel like it's not as deep anymore.
(But it's still deep!)

What are you looking forward to this week : Being in my 2nd Tri!

Health: Feeling pretty okay.
Still doing the "feeling good one moment, not good the next"
Hopefully this will just keep getting better!

Next Monday I have a Dr. Appt and I am excited to hear the little peanuts heart beat!
And to see what he has to say, and how I measure.

Last time I know we scheduled our c-section pretty early on
(before we even knew it was a boy!)
And so I am wondering when we will schedule!
I can't wait!!!

100 day picture challenge. Day 46

Day 46. A picture you have edited

My Sweet Tyler eating his cheerios

100 day picture challenge. Day 45

Day 45. A picture of your favorite cartoon character.

Mickey Mouse!
I love him!

And I am not afraid to admit that at 27 years old I cried when I saw him at
Disneyland for the very first time!

100 day picture challenge. Day 44

Day 44. A picture to describe my life.

Happy!
I am in such a great place!

I am very happily married to a great guy.
I have 2 sweet boys to take care of.
And a baby on the way.
We have a solid roof over our head.
We have nice vehicles to drive.
And most importantly, we have our health,
And Eachother!

100 day picture challenge. Day 43

100 day picture challenge. Day 42

Day 42. A picture of you listening to music

Well, we were not only listening to music...
We were out for Karebear's Bachelorette Party!
But their was music being played and so it counts, right?

This was such a FUN night!
Even though I was like... 8 months pregnant with Tyler,
and I was EXHAUSTED by about 7:30 pm,
I wouldn't have missed this night for the world!

100 day picture challenge. Day 41

Day 41. A picture of your favorite weather.

This is a no brainer.
I will take Summer heat over any weather.

Not any Summer heat.
I've been to Vegas in the middle of the summer and it's HUMID.

But I'm talking, Spokane, Washington, Summer heat!
And the higher the better.
I love those high 80's into the 90's days where I can lounge around in the yard
soaking up the sun.
Or going to the pool,
playing at the splash pad.

Can't wait for the Summer heat to kick in!

100 day picture challenge. Day 40

Day 40. A picture of your friends

These are some of my favorite girls ever!
I have had many fun sleepless nights with some of them.
Spent hours scrapbooking with them.
Drove hours to go to concerts with them.
Stayed up to all hours dancing with them.
I am Thankful for them.

12 weeks!

Closing in on the end of my first trimester is pretty nice!

Here I am today.
(Don't mind the no makeup.
It's the next day after Daylight savings time,
and it sorta kicked ass in my house!)

How far along: 12 weeks!

Total weight gain: about 1 and a half pounds so far

Sleep: still sleeping pretty good.
(with the exception of Tyler getting his molars and waking up about once per night!)

Maternity Clothes: Yep-- And this weekend I got a few new cute shirts
from Old Navy. They are bright and Springy and I am excited to wear them! :)

Gender: We are team Green so we will find out in September

Names: This weekend we tried to narrow it down.
I think we have 3 boy names and about 7 girl names....
Luckily we have lots of time to decide!

Stretch marks: No new ones!

Best moment this week: Getting new shirts.
I was pretty excited about that!

Movement: Nope

Food cravings: I have been eating ham and cheese hot pockets,
Maruchan chicken noodle soup and Lays potato chips with onion dip.
I also am eating a lot of salads and crunchy chicken salad. :)

Labor signs: Not even close!

Belly button - innie or outie: innie

What are you looking forward to this week : Getting caught up on sleep
after Daylight savings time has messed with us!

Health: Definitely feeling better!
I go from feeling awful one moment to feeling great the next,
but it's definitely a step in the right direction!

My next Dr. Appt is the 26th and I am excited to hear my little peanuts heartbeat
and see how things are going!

100 day picture challenge. Day 39

Day 39. A picture of my favorite food

A chicken chimichanga from Azteca
is one of my favorite meals EVER!
It is so delicious!
With the sour cream and guacamole
beans and cheese on the side to dip my chips in-
It's pretty amazing....

100 day picture challenge. Day 38

Day 38.  A picture of my favorite drink.

Vanilla Coke
and a
Lime Margarita

These are my favorite 2 drinks.
Though I couldn't tell ya the last time I had a margarita.

100 day picture challenge. Day 37

Day 37. A picture taken at school

This picture was right after we had our 8th grade promotion.
June of 1997

I still talk to 3 of these wonderful ladies,
and wish I talked to the 4th!
(We lost contact many years ago)

Those were the days!

100 day picture challenge. Day 36

Day 36. A picture of your pet

This is Jada.
She is our Chocolate Lab.
She is 6 years old but acts like she is 6 months old.

She barks at ANYONE she gets a chance to.
There is no knocking on the door, or ringing the doorbell
without hearing Jada.

Luckily she doesn't typically chew on shoes anymore,
but she loves Tyler's toys. :)

She loves to sit on the back of the couch and look out the window.
And of course, bark.

You cannot come to our house, and sit on our furniture
without taking home a little bit of Jada.

100 day picture challenge. Day 35

Day 35. A picture of your home town

Well, no picture today. Though I do somewhere have pictures I have taken of my "hometown"
I couldn't tell you where those are, other than in a box in my scrapbook room.

I tried to find something on google maps, but I didn't have any luck there either.
But if you have ever been to Elk, Washington,
you know you are not missing much.

There is one stop sign.
A small newspaper,
a little store,
a volunteer fire department..

My parents still live in the house that I lived in since just before I was 1 year old.
I have so many family members out there,
but that place is just not me.

Though I will be sad if my parents ever got rid of there house,
I have some amazing memories there, I have moved on from Elk, Washington.

Photo Dump

I haven't added many photos lately
So here are a bunch!

 What a smiley boy, right?

 Giving Mama some huge loves!

Brotherly love.
Zach had put Tyler in this chair
and slowly spun him around.
Every time he'd come around to face us he would laugh really hard!

Tyler loves his Cheerios, just like his big brother did!
He thinks he owns the box.
If you open the pantry door, you'd better be ready because he will be right there to grab the box.

Big brother was playing outside and Tyler was loving watching him!
But we have to pay close attention because Tyler has conquered climbing onto the couch now!
Sweet boy :)
