25 songs, 25 days Day 22

A song that someone has sung to you.

Heart of the matter By Don Henley.

I had a crush on this boy in like.. 8th grade... He played the guitar. And he played this song, and sang to me. I thought I was pretty cool. **

**Any one who might read this that I went to school with, if this same boy sang to you, please don't tell me. :) I like to think I was something.

25 songs, 25 days Day 21

I feel like I have been avoiding this particular post all day. Because when thinking of my favorite song, I can't actually narrow it down to one. Before I posted that "These Days" by Rascal Flatts is one of my favorites. Really you could name any of their songs and it could be one of my favorites.

Today I heard "God Bless the broken road" and I thought, that is my favorite. So that is what I am using. I really love that song. And my boyfriend sings it so that makes it even better.

If I picked my favorite song right this very second.... I still have several. Here are a few in no particular order....

Bruno Mars- The way you are.
Justin Bieber- Never say never
Justin Bieber- That should be me (this is with RF)
Train- Marry Me

These are songs that at the moment I could listen to over and over again.

25 songs, 25 days Days 19 AND 20!

I keep forgetting! I am not used to blogging everyday!

Day 19- The first song alphabetically in your iPod/iTunes-

(I won an iPod Touch last year at work! really, that's the only reason I have one.)

The first song is "Across the Universe" By the Beatles

Day 20- The last song alphabetically in your iPod/iTunes

The last song is "1000 Julys" By Third Eye Blind
I am honestly not sure that I have ever heard that song. There must be a song on that cd I like. It's Travis' cd....

25 songs, 25 days Day 18

Day 18- A song that you love but rarely listen to.

I chose "Dance with my father" by Luther Vandross.

I love this song. He has an amazing voice!

So yesterday morning when I left to go to Tyler's dr appointment the weather wasn't bad. I went in flip flops of course, as I do most days. Luckily for me I was home less than 10 minutes when I looked out the window to see a blizzard. This is what it looked like at 2 o'clock yesterday.

That was about 5 inches. Today we have over a foot and every school around us is closed!

25 songs, 25 days Day 17 and some other stuff!

Day 17- A song that makes you want to dance.

Probably anything from the Black eyed Peas.
I am not really into dancing unless I have had a drink or two. Maybe I should take dance lessons?

Today Tyler had his 4 month checkup....

Stat's:
weight: 16# 1.5oz.
height: 26 inches

I have a big boy! He had to get to shots as well. The first one he sorta looked at me like "why'd you just do that?"
the second one.... he screamed! Poor guy! But after he got settled all was well. He just finally went down for a nap about 45 minutes ago and I will be getting him up in a little bit to grab Zach from school. Hopefully he will go back to sleep once he's in the car seat. Otherwise I think I am in store for a crabby patty.
Here is Tyler last Saturday when he was officially 4 months old!

And here is today at the doctor's office!

25 songs, 25 days Days 15 and 16

Day 15- A song that you love to sing along to.
I like music way to much. There are so many songs that can fit this. (again!) One of my favorites is "Fast Cars and Freedom" by Rascal Flatts. (Really, any song by them)

Day 16- A song that has made you cry.

I chose "I can only imagine" by Mercy Me. The first time I heard this I cried. The 2nd time I heard this I cried. The 3rd time... you get the point. I love love love this song.
I really can only imagine what it will be like when I walk by His side. I think it will be a pretty amazing thing. :)

So this weekend was crazy busy, and Saturday we went to the Garland because Harry Potter 7 was showing and it was only $1! It was the best $1 I have ever spent. I knew I was in trouble when I cried in the first scene of the movie. I am going to be sooo sad when these movies are done because I am always so excited to see the new ones. But I will be excited for my marathons at home with my couch and blanket or as I scrapbook! (When I do mass scraps by myself, I usually have HP playing in the background!)

I am glad that this long weekend is over, but yesterday I woke up with a head cold. Those are never any fun, but especially while nursing because their isn't crap I can take. It's basically Tylenol and nasal spray. I hope this cold doesn't last as long as the last one did....

25 songs, 25 days Days 13 and 14

Day 13- A song that reminds you of a former friend.
uhh... I have to think waaay back for this one, and I am going with...

California Love by 2Pac.

I chose this because my old friend Candice, who I have not seen in who knows how long got me that cd for Christmas one year, (in 8th grade!) and we would sing that song.

Day 14- A song that reminds you of your boyfriend/girlfriend.

Since I don't currently have a boyfriend, I will have to do a song about my husband.

I am choosing Fools rush in, by Elvis. This is the song we danced to at our wedding. I love this song and I love Travis even more!

So I missed yesterday because we are in the middle of a busy weekend! Friday night Zach went to the monster trucks with Grandpa. Normally I go too but since Tyler and I are attached at the hip we skipped this time.

Saturday we had my nephew William's 1st birthday party! I can't believe he is one already!
Then Zach went to stay the night with his cousin Korey after the party. Travis, Tyler and I went to see Harry Potter 7 at the Garland. (it was $1 night!) And Tyler slept through most of it. He did startle awake a few times because it had a few spots that got loud. Today we are getting oil changes for the vehicles, getting groceries, and have a birthday dinner this afternoon in Post Falls. And we need to take a breather somewhere in there!

I am so glad we have tomorrow off too!

25 songs, 25 days Day 12

Day 12- The last song you heard.

Right now as I type I am hearing "Born this way" by Lady Gaga

It's not my favorite of hers but it's a catchy toon.

25 songs, 25 days Day 11

Day 11- A song off of your favorite movie. Well I have a lot of favorite movies. And my most favorite movie is in French, so I am not going to use it! But my next most favorite is Armageddon. Man I love me some Ben Affleck! So my day 11 song is, I don't want to miss a thing. Not only do I love this movie, and cry every.single.time. But I love this song too!

So onto something else.... Travis coupons like no bodies business. I wish I could take credit for all the deals he gets, but I can't. I don't remember all the amounts, but this weeks Albertson's had some crazy good deals. Here is what we got:

22 brown and sever breakfast sausage packages
3 1lbs jars of salsa
9 21 oz jars of BBQ sauce
2 Garlic butter rolls
4 Marie Calendars Salisbury steak dinners
1 Marie Calendars Battered fish dinner
18 Peter pan Peanut butters
12 packages of 4 count snack packs pudding
2 cans manwiches
7 cans ravioli
3 Hunts spaghetti sauces
3 6 packs bottles of Snapple

And we paid....... $13.92

Here is a pic that does not do justice!

25 songs, 25 days Day 10

Day 10- A song by your favorite band.

These Days- Rascal Flatts

This is probably one of my favorite songs ever. And by Rascal Flatts. Though really for this category I could list every song by them...

25 songs, 25 days Day 9

Day 9- A song that makes you hopeful

My Wish by Rascal Flatts

I chose this song because it is so positive and it always makes me smile... And so does the guy singing it too!

It makes me hopeful that my kids will have a long, happy, healthy and fulfilling life.

25 songs, 25 days Day 8 and other stuff!

Day 8- A song that reminds you of your "first love"

It's your love- Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

I dated this one boy for a good part of high school and this was "our song". After we broke up I did the classic "hating of the song" But now I love it again.
It's just a great love song.

So today is Valentine's day. I love this holiday mainly because I love Love. Yep, I am one of those cheeseballs. :D

Yesterday was my 28th Birthday, and I got the coolest present from Travis. I got a Gypsy!!(for scrapbooking with my Cricut!)
This was soo exciting. I have already started working and can't wait to see what I can create with it! Also Zach got me a Michael's gift card and I will have to decide what I would like to get with that. I am really trying to use my stash, so maybe I will get a tool of some sort? I don't know.... I have time to think about it!

Also my bestie showed up at my house yesterday morning with an Azalia plant with beautiful pink flowers and some white chocolate kit kats... (that girl rules!)

Mom and dad came over later in the day and had dinner with us, and mom brought a delicious cake! And we played a game of Life. It was a nice relaxing day.

On Saturday I forgot to mention that I went and got a pedicure with mom. I had a gift certificate that I had to use before the end of the month so it was a nice way to relax. Tyler, me and my mom went and had a nice morning and then did a little shopping. I sure love my mama! And getting to spend time with her!

Tyler has a Dr. appt coming up in a couple of weeks for weight check and shots. I am guessing now that he is about 16 pounds. He's a big guy! We will be celebrating 4 months of life at the end of this week!
Zach has a Valentine's party going on right now as I type. I planned to go but the teacher didn't seem to need any help so I'm home. A little sad as this is the first Valentine's Day that I am not at his party. I guess when you are in 3rd grade their is less going on, just passing out cards and having a cookie or two.... but still.

Here are a couple of pictures from the last couple of days. Take note of Tyler's shirts. He had a great weekend of shirts! :)

The boys. :)

New Born "fanpire"
It also has a pacifier that you can't really see that has bite marks with blood coming out.

Saturday 2-12

This is my birthday morning.

This is what happens when Grandma holds Tyler.

I sure love these guys!

Tyler had a long day! He is out!

25 songs, 25 days Day 7

Day 7- A song that reminds you of the past summer.

Whataya want from me- Adam Lambert

I love love love this song, and Adam Lambert!
I had this as my ringtone when someone would call and also played it all the time!

Also... Today I am 28... Time sure flies and I am having fun! I am really loving life and my family. I couldn't be happier! I can't wait to see what the next 28 years has in store for me!

25 songs, 25 days Day 6

Day 6- A song that reminds you of your best friend.

Girls just wanna have fun. Cyndi Lauper.

I chose this because it's always been Nicki and my song.

Each time I get a new phone I always download it as her ring. When I think of Nicki, I think of this. She is my bestest friend in the whole wide world, and us girls, we just wanna have fun!

25 songs, 25 days. Day 5

Day 5, A song that is often stuck in your head.

Doing this song blog maybe wasn't a good challenge! I often have songs stuck in my head and narrowing to one is tough!

I am going to choose .... Dynamite by Taio Cruz.
This is the most current one I suppose.

Funny story about this song. I often sing the wrong words to songs, especially ones like this. One night I was out with the girls for a friends Bachelorette party and this song was on. We were singing away when I realized the words I sang were not the same as what I just heard through the speakers. :) oops! I don't get it wrong anymore.

Edit:: I am editing this post because I started singing this song that was stuck in my head just now.... And I thought, "Why didn't I use this one???"

::::drum roll::::

I was like Baby, baby, baby, ohhhhh....

Yep, Justin Bieber is stuck in my head even more than Dynamite! I can't believe I forgot that one! I will admit, I want to see him movie that just came out on Friday. I will wait for it to be at Redbox, but I will be watching, Never Say Never :)

25 songs, 25 days Days 3 and 4

I am only 4 days in and already missed a day! So today I will do two songs!

First, Day 3- A song that reminds you of one/both of your parents.

Longer Than- Dan Fogelberg

This was their wedding song, and my uncle Wayde sang it. Even though I wasn't born yet, I still always think of them!

Day 4- A song that calms you down.

This was hard for me. I love music, and their are are so many songs/albums. I don't think I can narrow it to one song. So I am picking an album.

It's Time- Michael Buble

I picked this because he has such a soothing voice. I used to put this on to wake me up... It is for sure one of my favorites!

25 songs, 25 days Day 2

Day 2- A song that reminds you of your most recent ex-boyfriend.

It's been a while, but their was one song that stuck out.

Ignition Remix- R.Kelly.

I chose this song because not only did that ex-boyfriend sing it/play it all the time, but Zach ended up learning the words because we heard it so often. Zach was still pretty little but if you have ever heard that song, you know it's not the kind you want your child repeating...

On another note, Tyler has been noticing that he has feet. He kicks them around and just watches them. And last night he was really wanting them. Today... He got them. He finally reached down and grabbed one up in his hands. I think he was wondering how he was going to get it up to his mouth to chew on.... I am sure it won't be long. :-)

Here are my boys today.

25 songs, 25 days

I have been doing this 30 day challenge on Facebook. It tells you to post a picture of something that fits a certain description then I find a picture I think goes with it. ei. picture of the cast of your favorite tv show- I posted a picture of the cast of Criminal Minds. It's been fun.

So now that I am almost through, (I am on day 26) I had found this one about songs. So here I go.

Day 1- A song from my childhood.

I Swear- All-4-One

I am picking this song over all others from my childhood because I loved it so much. It was, and still is one of my favorite songs. All-4-One was also my first concert. I loved Jamie Jones a lot. He wore a jersey with the number 26 on it, and that is still to this day my "favorite number".

I can't wait to do the rest of these-- It will be a great list of songs from my life.

Happy Birthday Aunt Sam!

We hope you have a great birthday!!! We love you lots!

It's February!

So you know what that means? It's my Birthday month! :-) 11 days until my birthday! I am hoping for some scrapbook stuff.... I still have some of my craft store gift cards from Christmas, so I don't really need more stuff. I should be using all the other things I have. Which I will! But a girl can never have too much scrapbook supplies! ((right?))
So for this birthday I am wishing for a Gypsy to go with my Cricut... It'll let me do cool projects, and lots of cool stuff! I have been giving lots of hints too!

I am so far behind on my scrapbooks and am really trying to get my rear in gear. A couple of weekends ago I hosted a scrapbook party and I think it was a hit! I was working on starting my Disneyland/So Cal vacation book. It's going to be about 100 pages and I was able to knock out about 10-15 at the crop. Since then I have finished another 30 pages approx. So I am about half done!! But this is what I stll have to do:
~finish 2009 (only 4 pages left!)
~all of 2010 (I have about 500 pics. not sure yet how many pages that will be.)
~start 2011 (I have been taking pictures like crazy!)
~Twilight trip (this is probably only about 50 pages, I'm guessing)
~Rascal Flatts (a book of my concerts and meeting them!)
~starting Tyler's 1st year book (these will mostly be duplicates from other books- but only him)
~Trav and my wedding (that will be a big project- I have no idea how many pages!)

Plus I have a friends book that needs caught up... And then I should be caught up.
My goal is to get half of this done this year. I would be pretty happy with this!
That is why I will continue this new tradition to get together with the girls every other month to do a mass crop, and will be working on my own the rest of the time.

I am sure one day Tyler will want to know how come he had to be included in the scrapper girl's picture! He is saying :::in his best Napoleon Dynamite voice::: I don't want to get my picture taken!
